How It Works
- During checkout, customers select the renamed “Cash on Delivery” payment method (e.g., “Lipa Na MPESA”).
- Upon confirming their order, the plugin automatically redirects them to your Lipwa payment link with all necessary order details appended as query parameters.
- Customers complete their payment through Pay Hero, and you receive the payment confirmation on your Pay Hero dashboard.
Requirements
- A Pay Hero account with an active Payment Channel ID.
- WooCommerce installed and activated on your WordPress site.
Setup in Just a Few Steps
- Download, Install and activate the Pay Hero WooCommerce Plugin.
- Go to the WooCommerce Payment Settings and rename Cash On Delivery to “Lipa Na MPESA” payment method.
- Enter your Pay Hero Payment Channel ID in the plugin settings under WP settings->Pay Hero Redirect.
- Setup your callback URL as shown
- Save changes and start accepting payments via Pay Hero!
